Successment: Bold Growth Marketing Signs First-Ever Regional Corporate Pledge Promising to Act for Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Orlando, Fla. – Successment is proud to announce that we have joined more than 70 companies throughout Orlando’s business community committing to “Take the Pledge” brought forward by the Orlando region’s business leaders to commit to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.

Successment joins CEOs and top executives who have added their signatures to join this regional effort, organized by the Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership), focused on raising the growth potential of residents by creating opportunities for those long affected by racial inequality by ensuring pathways for participation in our economy.

Founder and CEO Jonathan Mentor says, “This initiative aligns beautifully with everything Successment stands for. I’m absolutely obsessed with elevating the economic seat of power of diverse people and commanding attention for us in one of the most effective ways to gain equal footing in our society: revenue generation.”

The initiative engages Orlando’s business leaders and community partners across varied industries and from diverse backgrounds to be part of solutions that advance racial and social justice, cultivate economic equality, remove barriers to growth opportunities, and expand the economic potential of our region and its residents. By signing on to this effort, Successment demonstrates its commitment to creating an inclusive workforce and that we will stand up for equity at all levels of business.

Successment was founded upon the goal of partnering with purpose to engage diverse communities, those frequently underrepresented in the tech startup industry. From Black, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, and female-owned businesses, we work to elevate their voices within their respective fields.

“We’re encouraging our region’s companies to commit to ensuring Orlando is a place in which equity and inclusivity are the foundation for prosperity,” said Tim Giuliani, president and CEO of the Partnership. “The Partnership is here as a resource to help businesses with information and tools to take action and address racism so we can build a better future for our region.”

The pledge is available on the Partnership’s Take the Pledge website, includes eight commitment statements, and allows CEOs and executives to add their signatures.
